JDC Demolition was selected by the Lee Kennedy Company to perform the complete demolition of over 80,000 SF of retail structure as party of the Downtown Quincy Revitalization. Work in this contracted included asbestos abatement, hazardous materials management, termination of water and sewer lines, complete demolition of the existing structure, and backfilling of basement areas. JDC was responsible for the preparation, submission, and approval of a non-traditional work plan submitted to the DEP to allow for JDC to bulk load over 2,000 ton of building material as asbestos containing waste.
