JDC was contracted to perform the structural demolition of multiple small buildings, businesses and a former steel manufacturing facility located on the site of the new Malden Police Station.The challenge of this project was to safely demolish a majority of the buildings that sat along the city sidewalk along with high voltage power lines in close proximity to the structures. This project also required a very delicate hand separation of the steel manufacturing plant and a neighboring tenant that was fully occupied during demolition.
