200 Smith St is a selective demo job with a large scope of work. JDC “skinned” the building of the metal sheeting on the outside and removed all of the exterior cmu walls. We conducted ample concrete saw cutting on the floor as well as on the walls in the basement to make way for a parking garage. We removed part of the middle section of the building as well as a runway out to an entrance area for the building. This made way for a courtyard. Another part of the building came down to make a main entrance mezzanine. This demo included the typical interior demo i.e. interior walls, ceiling tiles, grid ceilings, bathrooms, along with the demo of a mechanical room and crane pick of a large scale chiller unit.
