JDC was contracted by Cranshaw Construction and Leggett-McCall Properties to be partners in the development of parcel in Wilmington, Massachusetts owned by the Textron Corporation, a world recognized defense contractor. JDC’s scope included abatement and complete demolition of six buildings which amounted to over 600,000 SF. JDC’s scope included building separation, temporary weatherproofing of structures to remain, erosion controls, clearing and grubbing of the site, elevator decommissioning, cut and cap of existing utilities, and on site crushing of over 25,000 CY of concrete generated from the demolition to be reused as part of the future development.
