JDC was contracted by John Moriarty and Associates and Nordbloom to assist in the revitalization of the former Boston Globe Headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. The scope of work included complete interior gut demolition of the former 800,000 SF office and production building including asbestos abatement, removal of hazardous building materials, removal of all office finishes, removal of all existing mechanical systems, removal of printing production equipment, removal of elevators, removal of escalators, and removal of non-load bearing walls.
JDC also performed the complete demolition of select portions of the structure including generator building, former truck wash, and boiler building.
